A Gnathian Skyphos with Grape Vines ©

Magna Graecia. Gnathia. c. 350 B.C.

Description:
A squat body skyphos with wide foot and upturned handles. Painted around the body of the cup is a pattern of vines and a central flower.

Condition:
Some natural wear on the right handle from ancient use. Otherwise intact and whole. Beautiful patina over the piece.

Size:
Approx. 15 cm. tall.
